Athletic Alley Blog Carnival – November 5, 2009
Welcome to the November 5, 2009 edition of athletic alley blog carnival. Romero Vitelli presents an insightful look into the psychology of champion boxer, Adolph (”Ad”) Wolgast, the Michigan Wildcat. Wakesurfing is a sport that is growing in popularity and is a great way to satisfy that crave for the wave for those who don’t live near the ocean/sea. Marjorie Morgan presents a fun and adventurous story revolving around personal, gastronomical motivators. Dick Lafrance provides a clear explanation of how the BCS system works (or doesn’t). Fred Cook presents an excellent profile of Rachel Demara who is a real asset to the world of martial arts. Submissions are due by 8:00 PM (EST) on Tuesdays. The carnival will be posted at noon the following Thursday. Your submission can be focused on any sport, at any level. Athletic Alley and the contributors welcome your comments on the featured posts. I hope you enjoy the submissions. Keep those sports related articles coming. It is my hope that you consider this a fun and easy way to get the word out about the sport (or sports) you love to play and/or watch. If you know someone whose writing would be a good addition to the weekly blog carnival or to Athletic Alley itself, please point them this way.
