Athletic Alley Blog Carnival November 19, 2008

By Rich Dansereau | November 19th, 2008

Welcome to the November 19, 2008 edition of athletic alley blog carnival. This week’s edition has noticeably more submissions than in the past, which is a great thing. Gemma presents some great videos on various sports and sports topics; if you have ever wondered about the basics of a particular sport, check out the great videos presented. It is apparent from the four excellent posts by Barry Wright III that college basketball season has arrived. Charles Salazar has an interesting article on technological advancements in sports equipment and accessories. And Jeremy has a great article on the marriage of body building and the psyche. These highlights so not begin to cover the numerous articles we received this week. There is something here to appeal to most sports enthusiasts. Submissions are due by 8:00 PM (EST) on Mondays. The carnival will be posted at noon the following Wednesday. Your submission can be focused on any sport, at any level. Athletic Alley and the contributors welcome your comments on the featured posts. I hope you enjoy the submissions. Keep those sports related articles coming. It is my hope that you consider this a fun and easy way to get the word out about the sport (or sports) you love to play and/or watch. If you know someone whose writing would be a good addition to the weekly blog carnival or to Athletic Alley itself, please point them this way.
