Athletic Alley Blog Carnival November 5, 2008

By Rich Dansereau | November 5th, 2008

Welcome to the November 5, 2008 edition of athletic alley blog carnival. We have numerous excellent submissions this week. Marjorie presents some excellent advice on eating right as a key part of being prepared to perform at your optimum level. Another submission in the fitness category is by The Push Up Coach and explores the right (and wrong) way to do push-ups for maximum results while eliminating the harm done by incorrect form. AnneGlamore presents the inspirational story of a child overcoming anxiety and tackling a triathlon. And Danny Thornton presents a look back at sports in October. These are just a few highlights of the numerous articles we received this week. Submissions are due by 8:00 PM (EST) on Mondays. The carnival will be posted at noon the following Wednesday. Your submission can be focused on any sport, at any level. Athletic Alley and the contributors welcome your comments on the featured posts. I hope you enjoy the submissions. Keep those sports related articles coming. It is my hope that you consider this a fun and easy way to get the word out about the sport (or sports) you love to play and/or watch. If you know someone whose writing would be a good addition to the weekly blog carnival or to Athletic Alley itself, please point them this way.
