Athletic Alley Blog Carnival October 29, 2008

By Rich Dansereau | October 30th, 2008

Welcome to the October 29, 2008 edition of Athletic Alley Blog Carnival. Though Athletic Alley operated properly, this week’s blog carnival was delayed one day in publication due to issues with the Blog Carnival website. There is a great article on sled construction for strongman training. There are some great articles on both pro and college football.  And be sure not to miss the insightful analysis of the EliteXC controversy highlighted in this week’s submission by Chris Barbarino. Submissions are due by 8:00 PM (EST) on Mondays. The carnival will be posted at noon the following Wednesday. Your submission can be focused on any sport, at any level. Athletic Alley and the contributors welcome your comments on the featured posts. I hope you enjoy the submissions. We have already received a couple of submissions for next week’s carnival and are looking forward to receiving many more. It is my hope that you consider this a fun and easy way to get the word out about the sport (or sports) you love to play and/or watch. If you know someone whose writing would be a good addition to the weekly blog carnival or to Athletic Alley itself, please point them this way.
