Athletic Alley Blog Carnival October 22, 2008

By Rich Dansereau | October 22nd, 2008

Welcome to the October 22, 2008 edition of Athletic Alley Blog Carnival. This week’s articles cover a wide range of sports at many different levels. There are a couple of great articles on college football and our first submission for college basketball. The Hawg looks at a local high school teams’ struggle this season.  Sorin writes about Machester United fans forgiving Ronaldo and moving forward. For humor this week, we have two submissions that will have you in stitches, one from Joanne Olivieri and one from Peter Wade. Submissions are due by 8:00 PM (EST) on Mondays. The carnival will be posted at noon the following Wednesday. Your submission can be focused on any sport, at any level. Athletic Alley and the contributors welcome your comments on the featured posts. I hope you enjoy the submissions. We have already received a couple of submissions for next week’s carnival and are looking forward to receiving many more. It is my hope that you consider this a fun and easy way to get the word out about the sport (or sports) you love to play and/or watch. If you know someone whose writing would be a good addition to the weekly blog carnival or to Athletic Alley itself, please point them this way.
