Athletic Alley Blog Carnival October 8, 2008
Welcome to the October 8, 2008 edition of Athletic Alley Blog Carnival. We have some great submissions this week. There is a look at boxer Jack Johnson and the possibility of correcting a historical wrong. We have our first article on Traditional Chinese Martial Arts particularly Northern Shaolin. To put a smile on your face don’t miss Madeleine Begun Kane’s short, humorous take on bowling. Submissions are due by 8:00 PM (EST) on Mondays. The carnival will be posted at noon the following Wednesday. Your submission can be focused on any sport, at any level. Athletic Alley and the contributors welcome your comments on the featured posts. I hope you enjoy the submissions. We have already received submissions for next week’s carnival. It is my hope that you consider this a fun and easy way to get the word out about the sport (or sports) you love to play and/or watch. If you know someone whose writing would be a good addition to the weekly blog carnival or to Athletic Alley itself, please point them this way.
